Shoes with very high heels are very fashionable today. But are they good for you? "No!" says a team of US scientists from Stanford University. They did tests on the knees of women who wear high heel shoes. They said that high heels put women's knees in an awkward, bent position which makes them function like aged joints. That increases the risk for osteoarthritis and a knee operation.
